Support the process. Let them own the work.

A useful check-in makes room for the student to explain what changed and what they will try next.

Three questions for a weekly check-in

  • What did you understand this week that was confusing before?
  • Which mistake taught you something useful?
  • What is the next small, realistic session on your calendar?

Agree on the routine

Choose a time, a quiet place and a reasonable session length together. Look for consistent work and thoughtful review rather than judging every session by a score. Ask before taking over the plan.

Account and privacy

Students can export or delete their study records from account controls. There is no separate parent monitoring portal at present. Agree with your student about what they want to share, and keep passwords private.
